Applying

  • Priority Admissions Deadline for Fall: January 15th

  • Automatic Admission: top 25% of graduating class; second 25% of graduating class with 1170 SAT or 24 ACT

  • Students submit their UTSA application on Apply Texas.

  • Students send their standardized test scores (school codes: ACT 4239 and SAT 6919).

  • Students send their high school transcript and college transcript (if applicable).

Essays

  • UTSA lists Apply Texas Essay A as optional. It is highly recommended that students outside of automatic admission submit the essay.

  • University scholarships may require an additional short answer response, essay, or letter of recommendation.
