BUILDING YOUR
RESUMe

What better way to become a leader than by articulating your experiences and skills concisely? Let the resume be your guide.

Verb choice is key in resumes. Avoid weak descriptors like "helped" or "volunteered." How about managed, coordinated, developed, planned, or led?

For colleges and scholarships, creating a resume that highlights your extracurricular activities and leadership roles will suffice for almost all your applications.

The sample resume provided here is for a high school student applying for a job. Once you begin applying to internships and jobs, tailoring your resume with only relevant experiences will become common practice.
