Bio: After graduating from PSJA North High School in 2012, Thomas attended Princeton University. He founded CSLAP in 2013 and returned to Pharr every summer to host institutes. A Gates Millennium Scholar and Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, Thomas co-founded the Princeton Hidden Minority Council, an umbrella organization servicing first-generation and low-income students, and wrote blogs for the Office of Undergraduate Admission. From 2016-2017, he taught the "University Scholars Enrichment Course," an extension of CSLAP's curriculum, at PSJA ISD. He is currently pursuing an English PhD at UCLA and writing every day.
