Building Resumes

While resumes are often associated with the college application process, they can also serve as templates for leadership development. Think about it: What better way to become a leader than by articulating your experiences and skills concisely?

Verb choice is key in resumes. Avoid weak descriptors like "helped" or "volunteered." How about managed, coordinated, developed, planned, or led?

Do I Need More Than One Resume?

Yes, after high school. Once you begin applying to internships and jobs, tailoring your resume with only relevant experiences will become common practice.

For colleges and scholarships, creating a resume that highlights
